The lovely London weather gave me a great excuse to try

One fabulous pub - The Anchor and Hope - Waterloo.
One of my favourite starters of all time - Globe artichoke with a delicious vinaigrette.
My main was a Cuttlefish Risotto with a side Green Salad.
If you are in London, or are heading there at some point in the future, I recommend this pub - fabulous! The service was excellent (I had read reviews which stated the opposite to be true, however our experiences have only ever been positive and most enjoyable), the food was literally sublime and the energy of the place was inviting and relaxed. The perfect pub if you are in search of high quality, seasonal food.

Fifi - you look just stunning there!
ReplyDeleteI'm going down next week for my B trench. Although I had one sent up to me and the sleeves were down to the end of my paws - I sent it back and will try the 6 in another style.
And that was an old haunt of mine!
Hi Tabitha, thanks so much for your lovely comment! Hope you have great fun shopping at Burberry next week - I am sure you will find your dream coat. Have you been to this pub too? Fifi

I love your outfit and I love your red Mulberry bag! I love to catch up with girls at the crosstown eating house... I think it's the best restaurant/ pub in Brisbane, never feel sick of their food. You should try when you come back to Brissy end of this year!

Hi SSG - Thanks for your lovely comment, am sure there are some amazing places to have lunch with friends in Sydney too.
ReplyDeleteTiffany - Thanks also for your lovely comment and for the recommendation - I will definitely check it out.
I love this post! Firstly, you're looking stylish and your Picasso shirt is to die for. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite place to eat with friends is Gallipoli in Islington. It's a Turkish restaurant (actually they have 3 in the same street), the food is great and always fresh, not too expensive and the atmosphere and service is fantastic. I strongly recommend it. It's on Upper Street in Islington. Go, before you leave London. It's well worth the trip. And while you're there, you can have a stroll down the street and browse the designer shops they have. You will leave the place happy, but also with no money in your pocket.
